Tobias Matheson has been passionate about racing from an incredibly young age. He first discovered sim racing at just seven years old, spending countless hours competing in NASCAR and oval racing. Encouraged by his parents, Tobias soon realised that esports could become a valuable tool in developing his real-world racing career, giving him another avenue to sharpen his skills and compete against talented drivers from around the world.

That belief has been reinforced by an impressive racing journey away from the simulator. Tobias has spent the last ten years competing in multiple forms of motorsport, starting with RC cars before progressing to Quarter Midgets and, more recently, Tillotson karting. By the age of nine, he had already secured regional RC victories and back-to-back state championships. His Quarter Midget career produced numerous race wins, regional podiums, and even a national podium finish. Since stepping into karting just a few months ago, he has continued to impress, already claiming two Florida Karting Championship podiums alongside five club podium finishes.

In sim racing, Tobias enjoys competing in high-performance prototype machinery, with GTP and LMP2 cars at Daytona Road Course being among his favourite combinations. His long-term ambition is simple but incredibly ambitious: to become the greatest racing driver of all time and one day win the Formula 1 World Championship.

Outside of competition, Tobias is a lifelong supporter of Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari. His family's commitment to racing has taken him all across the United States in pursuit of competition. Whether on the simulator or at the circuit, he approaches every race with the same determination to learn, improve, and chase success.
